Christopher Voutsinas, Director


Appointed by the Province of Ontario in February 2019.

Christopher Voutsinas has over 25 years of real estate investment management and private equity experience, and has worked in major markets around the world.   He has led professional teams based in North America, Europe, and Asia from offices in London, New York, and Toronto.

Mr. Voutsinas is President, Capital Value & Income Corp, a proprietary co-investment and strategic advisory firm that he founded in 2010.

Most recently, Mr. Voutsinas was based in London, UK, as Managing Director, Head of International Real Estate at SEDCO Capital.  Mr. Voutsinas has held senior leadership roles at prominent organizations including Deutsche Bank (Managing Director, Global Head of Real Estate Asset Management) and Goldman Sachs (Executive Director, Asset Management). He has designed and implemented global investment management strategies and platforms, and motivated high performance professional teams across diverse cultures and geographies. He has managed and advised on real estate investments and transactions (equity and debt; private and public) in Europe, Asia, the U.S., Canada, and South America with an aggregate value in excess of $13 billion.  He is an expert in joint ventures, restructurings, and repositionings, at the asset, platform, and enterprise levels.

Mr. Voutsinas now lives in Toronto, Canada and was recently appointed Board Chair of Infrastructure Ontario, and board member of Waterfront Toronto.  He is an active angel investor having invested in several Canadian tech start-ups including Wave Apps.

Mr. Voutsinas received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business, an M.S. in Real Estate from M.I.T., and a Bachelor of Architecture from McGill University.  He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, a founding board member of Kids Health Links Foundation, and formerly a member of the Ontario Advisory Committee of TELUS.
