Practicing law for over 38 years in both private practice with a law firm, and as in house counsel, Ian is a trusted senior legal and strategic advisor to business. He has experience in many aspects of business law including domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, equipment lease financing, debt financing, corporate secretarial functions, corporate governance and restructuring. He has worked with and led teams of lawyers and other professionals in many practice areas and disciplines.

Ian has served as director and secretary of numerous charitable and for-profit businesses.
 

Ian holds an LL.B. from the University of Toronto and B.Comm (Honours) from Queen’s University.
