July 27, 2018, Toronto, ON — Waterfront Toronto joins our partner Menkes Developments Ltd in welcoming WPP, a global leader in communications, as the lead tenant at the Waterfront Innovation Centre.

From the beginning, our vision for the Waterfront Innovation Centre was to create a dynamic space that served as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration and economic growth.  WPP’s presence on the waterfront adds to the Toronto waterfront innovation corridor – an emerging hub for the city’s rapidly growing technology and creative sectors.

WPP is well placed to animate the innovation vision for the waterfront and will benefit, we believe, from the Waterfront Innovation Centre’s next evolution workplace design that will reinvent how people work together. The building will create a work environment that allows tenants to interact and share resources in a series of interconnected private, semi-private and public spaces. State-of-the-art amenities for all tenants include a presentation theatre, sophisticated audio-visual and video conferencing tools and workshop facilities with digital production facilities that will enhance productivity, the ability to network and exchange ideas.

WPP joins a growing innovation and creative ecosystem in the area that includes Corus, Pinewood Studios, George Brown College, Daniels Launchpad, and Quayside.
