Thank you to all those who joined our live Virtual Town Hall. We hope that you learned something new about what is happening on the waterfront and are excited about what’s ahead. From affordable housing to award-winning parks, to climate leadership and economic opportunity, together we are creating a waterfront that belongs to everyone.

If you were not able to attend the Virtual Town Hall live, or would like to watch it again, a recording of the event can be accessed below.

Your Questions

We received many excellent questions during the Q&A portion of the Town Hall. Our President and CEO, George Zegarac, was able to answer several of them, but due to time constraints we were unable to answer them all live. No worries though, we captured all the unanswered questions and have provided responses here. Please note that questions have been grouped by theme and similar or duplicate questions have been aggregated. So if you do not see your exact question, know that we did our best to address it in the answers provided.

We also want to take this opportunity to clarify how the Q&A session on Zoom Webinar was moderated. During the Town Hall, the Waterfront Toronto team was busy behind the scenes selecting a handful of questions for George to answer that we felt represented a broad range of topics. Only the questions that we selected for George to answer live were published so all attendees could see them.

This was our first time using this platform and we are always keen to hear your feedback. If you attended the Town Hall, please take a moment to complete this brief survey.
