Corus Quay

Body

Corus Quay, the new corporate headquarters for Corus Entertainment, is a 46,500 square metre (500,000 square foot) office and broadcast centre located at the water’s edge in East Bayfront.

The iconic building was developed by  the Toronto Port Lands Company (TPLC) formerly TEDCO, the City of Toronto’s Economic Development Corporation, and is owned by H&R REIT.

Located just south of Queens Quay on Dockside Drive, Corus Quay allowed the company to consolidate its Toronto based operations from two distinct locations, including 24 television services and three Toronto radio stations into one facility. Corus Quay is a hub of activity with round-the-clock broadcasting and space for public performances. More than 1,100 highly-skilled, creative-based employees work at Corus Quay helping to promote a thriving business and cultural community in East Bayfront.

Green Building

Designed by renowned Diamond and Schmitt Architects, Corus Quay like all new buildings in East Bayfront has targeted the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification.

Corus Quay features a significantly reduced power signature, a fire-store bio well for air filtration, a green roof and energy efficient lighting. Corus Quay uses low-flow water fixtures and re-used rainwater to reduce water consumption. An underground storage facility for more than 70 bicycles is also available for employees.
