Corktown Common's design firm, landscape architects Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, Inc. (MVVA), with the support of Waterfront Toronto, has produced these Organic Landscape Maintenance Guidelines as a site-specific resource tool to assist the City of Toronto’s Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division staff in maintaining Corktown Common, and Lawren Harris Square. Closely developed with input from city staff, these guidelines are designed to complement the Parks, Forestry, Technical and Facilities Management Services Information Guide and the Parks Branch Field Guide
