Waterfront Toronto Presents to Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics
The Clerk of the Federal Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics invited Waterfront Toronto to present before the committee on February 21, 2019. The Committee is undertaking a study on the privacy implications and potential legal barriers relating to the implementation of digital government services in Canada, in order to make recommendations on how the government could improve its services while also protecting Canadians’ privacy and security.
Waterfront Toronto Statement on Recent Media Reports Regarding the Quayside Project
In 2017, following a competitive RFP process, Sidewalk Labs was selected by Waterfront Toronto to develop a plan for Quayside as a testbed for the broader revitalization of Toronto’s waterfront.
Our goal for the project was to improve urban living and explore solutions for growing urban challenges such as housing affordability, environmental sustainability, economic development and prosperity, and integrated transit solutions.
