Water’s Edge Promenade Named One of Canada’s Best Landscape Architecture Projects
March 6, 2014, Toronto, ON— The Water’s Edge Promenade in East Bayfront has received a National Merit Award from the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA).
The CSLA Awards of Excellence recognize the best in Canadian landscape architecture. According to the CSLA, this year’s award-winning projects are “a reminder that great design helps build great communities.”

Major Milestone in the Revitalization of the Waterfront
August 9, 2010, Toronto, ON— Two inviting and exciting public spaces officially opened today in part of Toronto’s downtown waterfront that was until now mostly derelict industrial land that few people had visited. Canada’s Sugar Beach and the Water’s Edge Promenade (phase one) are unique new urban spaces that have transformed a lakefront parking lot and underused area into waterfront attractions.
