New solar and wind powered streetlights installed at Bayside sales centre

July 23, 2013, Toronto, ON – The new Bayside Toronto sales centre will feature two ‘off-grid’ solar and wind powered streetlights. The streetlights, installed as part of a demonstration by Clear Blue Technologies and TowerLabs @MaRS, are designed to advance and promote the use of environmentally friendly solar and wind powered lighting. Clear Blue Technologies manufactures and sells the streetlights and TowerLabs @MaRS is a not-for-profit green building accelerator.

Waterfront Toronto's first sustainability report highlights waterfront progress
