City Council Approves Waterfront Toronto's Bayside Development Project

August 27, 2010, Toronto, ON – Toronto City Council has overwhelmingly approved Waterfront Toronto’s selection of premier international real estate firm Hines to develop a prominent waterfront site minutes from downtown. The sale and lease agreements for the city-owned parcel were brought to City Council on the recommendation of Waterfront Toronto following a competitive two-stage bidding process.

Waterfront Toronto Short-Lists Developers to Bid on East Bayfront

 

TORONTO, June 19, 2008 – Waterfront Toronto today announced the short-listed development teams to bid on two mixed-use development parcels in East Bayfront, a vibrant new waterfront community steps from Toronto’s downtown core.

 

Teams were short-listed through two Requests for Qualifications (RFQ’s) issued March 14, 2008. 25 submissions were received.

Toronto, March 7, 2008 - As part of the multi-billion dollar revitalization project to create a new, showcase mixed-use community on Toronto’s waterfront and surrounding areas, Waterfront Toronto, the organization established to oversee and lead waterfront renewal in the city announced today that it is seeking development partners for its East Bayfront initiative, one of the key sites in the revitalization of Toronto’s waterfront.
